The CENTRAL FLORIDA ANIMAL RESERVE is a big cat & wildlife sanctuary dedicated to the research and application of effective stewardship techniques designed to emphasize meaningful coexistence with our animal residents, and using those relationships to educate the public at large.

The Central Florida Animal Reserve (CFAR) is dedicated to the preservation of the "great" cats.  This non-profit facility serves rescued big cats from life-threatening situations, exploitation, and inappropriate living conditions.  We are on a mission to preserve these magnificent animals and advocate for sustaining their habitats before they are extinguished from the Earth.

COMPASSION.  CONSERVATION.  COMMITMENT.

After over 10 years of stewardship, we are re-dedicating ourselves to the core of our mission as CFAR.  Focus on compassionate care will aid our goal of healthy, contented residents.  Active research and social engagement will further the international conservation effort.  Expansion of programs designed to improve social and personal growth will expand our depth of commitment.
